About The Event
This exciting course is considered beginner/intermediate level but will have some advanced methods also. All requirements will be clearly explained. The novelty cake course is aimed at learners who are more expressive in their work and want to be more adventurous when creating cakes.
In this course you will learn how to:
- Carve cakes into shapes
- Make characterful models/figures. (Give the models a personality!)
- You will create a variety of textures and work with different edible pastes.
- Create and decorate a simple handbag cake
- Carve a baseball hat cake
There will be a other techniques taught as well as tricks of the trade.
