About The Event
This exciting 6 week course is suited to beginners and intermediate students who are keen to learn or develop skills on how to present cakes well. By thend of the course you will be able to:
- Learn how to cover a cake with sugarpaste to a professional finish.
- Recreate simple edible lacework, ruching or frills (at the discretion of the teacher).
- Create simple toppers using the appropriate medium and the key craft tools required.
- Learn the basic principles of royal icing
- and much more...
You will watch demonstrations carried out by the teacher and then recreate what you have been taught adding your own creative spin.
You may be given homework to complete tasks at home.
You are free to ask any questions and we will problem solve jointly.
