About The Event
This exciting course is suitable for beginner/intermediate level. All requirements will be clearly explained. The novelty cake course is aimed at learners who are more expressive in their work and want to be more adventurous when creating cakes.
In this course you will learn how to:
- Carve cakes into shapes
- Make characterful models/figures. Humans and animals. (Give the models a personality!)
- You will create a variety of textures and work with different edible pastes.
- Model and decorate a handbag and shoes with a professional finish
- Carve a baseball hat cake
There will be a other techniques taught as well as learning various tricks of the trade.
You may be given homework.
